Cirrus model CLS1 is one of the versatile used level switch for level controlling in free flowing liquid tanks & pits, easy to install, economical, maintenance free and reliable designed for trouble free operation. Its double chamber hermetic sealed non toxic Polypropylene body makes it suitable for drinking water to sewage applications. The switching "On" or "Off" differential is adjusted by a counterweight on the cable & by simply lengthening or shortening the free cable fixation point. Requires no special mounting arrangement, it is just hanged by its cable from top in the tank and can control both emptying or filling operations. With its long cable lengths & adjustable switching differential, it can be used for controlling of single phase pumps directly & three phase pumps through starter panel. For greater tank depths more then one cable float level switch can be used for each level.

It is one of the economical & reliable means of point liquid level detection in all type of vessels. Its magnetic operating principal & all stainless steel wetted part construction makes it suitable for almost all liquids. It requires no external electric power supply to operate. Switch assembly consists of a weatherproof cast aluminium switch housing which encapsulates a magnetic microswitch mechanism inside it, a float on front side of SS flange is held on a magnetic lever arrangement. During liquid rise inside tank, float of the switch also rises due to buoyancy effect, thus causing magnetic lever to actuate microswitch mechanism inside the housing, by which an SPDT potential free contact is  achieved. This contact can be used to operate a pump or any device connected in series to it.The switches are also available with external cage mounting & various process connections.

Cirrus CLS10 RF Admittance Level Switch is one of the versatile used level switch for solid and liquid point level measurement control application. Its advance design and sensing electronic unit makes it suitable for sticky media, large hoppers and storage bins. Its fail safe design and unique feature of shield coat guard technique, makes it immune to material build up & sticking on the probe or between the probe and storage tank walls. The switch is easily thread mounted on the tank and is highly reliable in operation, irrespective of the viscosity of media or its sticky tendency. Its best suitable for dusty environment, especially solid powders.

The Switch operates on the basis of RF absorption measurement. The electronic part of sensor propagates sinusoidal wave which is applied to the probe electrode, creating a field around it. The change in RF absorption value (electrical loss) around the electrode, is reflected during the changes of generator supply current. Such changes, caused by the increase in  Level is duly amplified and used to operate a relay output. The RF level switch overcomes the drawback of other conventional level sensors, and is immune to the material coating left on the probe during rise and fall of material level inside tank or hopper, thus is not effected by any coating of material still left on the probe and only sensing actual level of materia inside tank, which makes it suitable for sticky or dusty environment.

The switch has a efficient coat protection amplifier incorporated in the electronic circuit which has its output exactly at the same voltage and phase all times as its input. The output is connected by shield of low capacitance co-axial cable, to the concentric tube on sensor probe called shield element. Since both the elements, sensor and shield, are exactly at the same potential and phase at all times, three is no current flow through the cable. Thus there is no change in calibration due to coating of material left on the probe or temperature effect of the cable. The measured signal do not flow backward but flowsonly through the probe towards material inside tank. Thus the coat guard and signal flow technique makes it immune to material build up & enables it to have fail proof operation in such conditions. Switch can be selectable configured for high or low level point switching.

Cirrus displacer switches are designed for mounting from top of the vessels with internal working, in long operating range. The displacer acting as the sensing medium allows for a wide range of switching differential and field adjustable switching. Displacers are available in s. S. Or polypropylene and with suspension cable. The sensing hollow displacer float is suspended from a spring & cable assembly. When the liquid comes in contacts with the displacer, a buoyancy force is produced which causes the effective weight of the displacer to change, in turn causing the spring assembly in switch enclosure to seek a new balance position, which moves the attraction sleeve into the field of the magnet. This principle gives a wide switching differential and also a desired level switching point can be obtained by moving the displacer up or down on the suspension cable. Further advantage is its use in high-pressure applications as the displacer have thicker wall thickness than conventional floats. Switches are available with single / multiple displacers and with optional still guide pipe.

Cirrus Miniature Level Switches are widely used in places where size is constrained. Being compact in size these are used in small tanks & equipments. Hermitically sealed reed switches are enclosed inside the sensor stem, which are actuated by the magnetic floats. Floats are specially designed to encapsulate permanent magnets inside them. These floats traverse up / down or tilt outside or on one side of the sensor stem. Contact of in-housed switches changes with movement of floats in correspond to rising/falling of liquid level inside tank, thus giving potential free contact outputs. The sensors are custom made in top & side mounting versions in ss / pp construction. Top mounted models are available in single or multi level sensing types in various lengths. Side mounted versions are available in hinge or bend stem construction. The switches are available in variety of constructions, lengths & single or multipoint level detection.

Cirrus top mounted switches are designed for top mounting insertion inside vessels and are most suitable for controlling liquid levels of hot & dense liquids. The switches are manufactured in two types of switch mechanism viz. single acting and double acting. Single acting switch mechanism: In these type of switches only single point contact output is obtained. Due to rise of liquid level inside tank the float along with stroke rod of instrument moves in upward direction, hence raising the attractor. Attractor thus on lifting operates a magnetic lever mounted inside the switch enclosure, resulting magnetic lever to come in contact with the attractor. Due to this movement of lever, a microswitch is actuated giving potential free contact output. On reverse, when liquid level falls inside tank, the stroke rod & attractor moves down thus breaking the magnetic field & releasing of the lever & deactuation of microswich. These have single levelsensing contact outputs. Double acting switch mechanism : A differential of 115 mm max. with individual two switch is obtained for high & low levels. These have multilevel contact outputs. The switches are Reliable  rugged, have easy installation, made in SS float & Linkage versions. Models are available for high pressure &temperature and with external cages.

CLS2 Conductivity level switch/controller/indicator is one of the versatile and economical instrument for point level indication and controlling of conductive liquids. The complete set comprises of a conductivity ‘Probe Sensor’ and a conductivity ‘Level Controller’. The probe Sensor (CLS2-S) is mounted on top of tank/pit, whereas the Level indicator cum Controller can be mounted inside panel/on panel door/wall mounted (as per various models available with us). The instrument is available in 2,3 or 4 point level sensing cum controlling models.
‘Probe Sensor’ is made up of Stainless steel ‘Solid’ or ‘Flexible cable’ probes. The sensor has one longest reference (common) probe and 2~4 level sensing probes depending upon 2~4 point level sensing models. Each probe is made up of different lengths as per the level sensing points required. All probes are sheathed with insulated material. Solid probe sensors are suitable for shorter tank depths whereas flexible cable probe sensors are suitable for large tank depths. Probes are immersed inside liquid and senses level when liquid makes contact with each probe at different levels. Sensors are manufactured with thread or flange mounting connections. High temperature version sensors are available with high temperature sheathes. Optionally all probes of the sensor can be supplied in same lengths, wherein user can cut the respective probe lengths as per theirrequirement at site.

Cirrus Vibration fork level switches are best suitable for level sensing of free flowing powders, solid granules or liquids. Its working principle involve sensing of level of media vide vibration technique. The switch consists of a pair of stainless steel tuning forks which upholds vibration creating & sensing element inside it. The electronic circuitry inside switch housing gives an impulse to these vibration sensors causing them to vibrate on a particular resonance frequency which is equal to the resonance frequency of tuning forks. This vibrating frequency causes tuning forks to vibrate free inside the tank when forks are not covered with any media. Once the media such as Solid or liquid, covers the tuning forks, it causes damping of vibrations. This sudden vibration amplitude damping effect of vibrating forks is sensed by an equal circuitry which in turns gives an output electronic signal which in turn actuates a relay. Again when media inside tank un-covers tuning forks, vibration of forks regains its high frequency thus causing de-actuation of relay. Due to its constant vibration of forks these switches inherit self cleaning action and are applicable for both solids and liquids. These switches are best used in feed hoppers, storage bins in various granules & powder handling industries. Other customized versions are available in long fork lengths, Solid rod probeconstruction & flexible cable hanging versions for larger tank depths and top mountings. The switches are thread mounted on the side of tanks or silos.
